UK -Cuticle Softener Pen og Polish Remover

I’ve received some new stuff from BornPretty, that they wanted me to share my thoughts on, and that I’m happy to do…

(Btw: this is written as a first hand impression of the products, a update on my thoughts will come after a week when I’ve had a chance to try the products more that once)

Today I’ve received their new Nail Polish Remover and their Cuticle Softener Pen.

The first thing that I noticed was the perfume in the Waterbased Nail Polish Remover, but when you get over that scent, I don’t seem to notice it that much. It’s not like the scent of acetone, that evaporates with time, but I got use to the scent fairly quickly.

One thing that I loved, was, that when I unboxed the bottle of polish remover, it was sealed in a thin coat of plastic, that made sure that nothing of the polish remover has leaked during shipping.

I’ve more than, I’d like to count, looked at the table of content list on the nail polish remover I normally used, but it contains sooooo many ingredients that I don’t know what are. The one I normally use is Cien – Nail Polish Remover Classic, the one with acetone, because I can’t stand the scent of the other one.

Born Pretty?s table of content is something that I do understand. Ethyl acetate, is (what I can find online) helping with the strong scent that the Nail Polish Remover has. After that it contains, Alcohol, Water and Perfume, I mean that I something that I can understand. So now I’m excited to see how it removes the polish, and if it does it better that my normal polish remover.

Next up is, the Cuticle Softener Pen.

This one, this I could get addicted off. Now I know that it’s not a cuticle oil, but I mean, Cuticle Softener vs. Cuticle Oil = soft, healthy cuticles right??

I’ve just got it home today, and now at 8.44 in the evening, applied it about 10 times, if not more. It has a white thick creme, that comes out when you twist the bottom of the pen. The creme is quickly absorbed into the skin, whether you massage it into the skin or just let it sit there. On my picky I got a hang nail, and it’s really dry and irritating me, I applied a generous amount of creme and it worked!. The hang nails end is no long dry and getting stuck in everything.
A giant plus for this Cuticle Softener Pen is, that it dosen’t have a scent (or at least not a strong one, I can’t smell anything though), I know that, because my husband will complain his ass off, if there is any scent that he doesn’t regocnize, and he hates scents in general. He can accept many scents, if I just warn him before opening the items, but that sweet almond’y scents from oils and cremes, that’s a big no no in his head.

I can’t wait to use this over the next week, and I’ll be back with a new update inhere, and on instagram.

If you didn’t know, I have a code when you shop on BornPretty, you save 10%, I don’t make any money on this, it’s purely a treat for you guys… ?

Now I’m gonna go try to get the twins ready for bed…
